ABOUT Community Relief Center ORGANIZATION
BACKGROUND OF CRC
Community Relief Center (CRC) is a non- governmental, Non- profit organization registered and
working in Somalia. The organization was established in the year 2014 by a group of youth in
Somalia. The organization was founded by development minded youth who came together to
Marshall the locally available resources to empower women and youth, reduce poverty through
education and improve the livelihoods of the most vulnerable people in the community.
Community Relief Center (CRC) is registered with the federal government of Somalia and the
regional state of Galmudug. The organization has the mandate to work in the South and Central
Regions of Somalia.
OUR MISSION
Community Relief Center (CRC) aims to serve and empower Somali women and youth while
enabling peace and development. CRC members serve their communities while gaining formal
and non-formal education in areas such as leadership, capacity building, and environmental
work.
OUR VISION
To engage extensively on a multi-faceted empowerment programs and Sustainable Development
related activities that would help bridge poverty gap and mitigate risks posed to women and the
youth

Engage young people in the development and integration of their communities
Create opportunities for the education, training and employment for young and
marginalizedpeople
Facilitate the spread of sustainable agricultural and environmental initiatives
